Real results for Precinct 2. And we’re still not done.

As your County Commissioner, I fought for Bexar County's first homestead exemption, new flood protection for our neighborhoods, and health care closer to home. Now I'm asking for your vote to finish what we started: flood projects on our creeks, upgrades at Rodriguez Park, and a new service center that puts County offices closer to you.

YOUR VOTE DECIDES PRECINCT 2

Early voting: Oct. 19 to 30   |   Election Day: Nov. 3   |   Register by: Oct. 5

Lower tax bills. Earlier flood warnings. Mental health care in our schools. That's what showing up for Precinct 2 looks like.

13

School districts where students can now get mental health care at school.

$12M

To upgrade Rodriguez Park with better places to play, practice, and gather.

WHAT WE'VE DELIVERED

As your County Commissioner, Justin has:

Lowered taxes for homeowners

Worked with Commissioners Court to create Bexar County's first homestead exemption in 2022, then raise it to the 20% maximum, while keeping the senior tax freeze.

Why it matters: Families keep more of what they earn.

✓  DONE

Built earlier flood warnings

Funded the $21 million NextGen Flood Warning System, with real-time sensors, automatic gates, and faster alerts, plus $1.25 million for sirens in flood-prone areas.

Why it matters: In a flash flood, minutes matter.

✓  FUNDED

Fixed drainage where water collects

Advanced Huebner Creek improvements for Leon Valley and San Antonio, a $30 million Zarzamora Creek project to take about 70 homes and buildings out of the floodplain, and fixes at Big Geronimo.

Why it matters: Fewer flooded streets and homes.

●  UNDERWAY

Brought mental health help before a crisis

Worked with the Court to fund care in 13 school districts, the SMART team that sends clinicians to 911 mental health calls, and new treatment beds.

Why it matters: The right help at the right time keeps people safe and families together.

●  UNDERWAY

Brought health care closer to home

With County Judge Nelson Wolff, championed up to $60 million in federal relief funds for public health. County support helped University Health open the Wheatley and Vida health centers in 2025.

Why it matters: Doctors and urgent care in neighborhoods that used to drive across town.

✓  OPEN

Invested in the West Side

Secured $1 million to expand the House of Neighborly Service senior center. Opened the BiblioTech Niña digital library. Restoring the historic Lerma's building as a BiblioTech.

Why it matters: Places for seniors, kids, and families in neighborhoods that waited too long.
